DreamEmpire Films Announces Father’s Day Release of Cheer Dad and International Distribution Partnership with Vision Films

The uplifting new film Cheer Dad is officially scheduled for a Father’s Day 2026 release, and the project has secured an international distribution partnership with Vision Films, bringing the film to audiences around the world.
Cheer Dad is a heartwarming family film that celebrates the powerful bond between fathers and daughters. The story follows a devoted dad who finds himself stepping into the high-energy world of competitive cheerleading in order to support his daughter’s dream. Along the way, he learns that being a great parent sometimes means stepping outside your comfort zone and showing up in ways you never imagined.
The film is produced by DreamEmpire Films and directed by filmmaker Joyce Licorish, whose work focuses on creating stories that move, touch, and inspire audiences while highlighting the strength of family and community.
The Father’s Day release was chosen intentionally, positioning Cheer Dad as a special “Daddy-Daughter Movie Event” designed to bring families together for a meaningful and fun cinematic experience. The campaign will include community screening events, cheer team outings, youth group participation, and family-centered celebrations across multiple cities.
In addition to theatrical event screenings, the film will reach a global audience through its distribution partnership with Vision Films, a worldwide distributor known for bringing independent films and family entertainment to international markets through theatrical, cable, and streaming platforms.
