The Pursuit of Your Dream

 “The Pursuit of Your Dream”

Written By: Diana Rhodes

How many of us can say we are exactly where we want to be in life?  How many of us can say we are doing what we always wanted to do? Have you ever sat at your desk at work and thought, is this all there is for me?

If living in the Covid 19 era hasn’t taught us anything else, it most certainly has taught us that there has to be more to life than what we have allowed ourselves to become accustomed to.

Having been forced to stay at home gave us a wonderful opportunity to reevaluate our trajectories in life. I, for one, pursued my writing more and it paid off in a really big way.

For me, being locked down turned into an unexpected blessing because it allowed me to go deeper into myself and pull out what was already stirring inside of my thoughts. Suddenly, the person I dreamed I could become had emerged, because I had the time and the courage to let her out.

Everyone has a dream that has yet to be pursued inside of them. Perhaps it is a hidden talent or gift they may have never made time to pursue because life got in the way. Sometimes we get in our own way. Now is the time to be courageous and make a way out of no way.

At DreamEmpire, the culture and climate that has been cultivated is “We can do it”.

Joyce Licorish leads the staff in daily affirmations that summon the courage needed to pursue the dream. The dream varies for each staff member, but the common thread is that of success.

As each person pursues their happiness doing what they love to do, our stories and efforts become interwoven and the chemistry for our success becomes evident.

KEY TAKEAWAY: Dreams are not meant to lay dormant inside of us. They are meant to manifest. If you can’t manifest it yourself, get around people who help pull it out of you. If you do nothing else in your lifetime, pursue your dream with zeal and get to your own personal level of success.
